Your Rainbow Mountain Peru Tour begins with an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Cusco. We will depart the city around 4:00 AM. We will be driving through the tranquil Andean countryside as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the peaks. 

You’ll pass traditional villages and farmlands. You will see alpacas and llamas graze peacefully, offering an authentic glimpse of rural life in the highlands. After a scenic drive of approximately three hours, we will stop in a local village for a nourishing breakfast to fuel your journey.

Following breakfast, we will continue the drive to the trailhead near Phulawasipata. At an altitude of 4,600 meters (15,091 feet) above sea level, you’ll begin your trek to Rainbow Mountain.

The trail winds through breathtaking Andean landscapes. It features rolling hills, icy streams, and glimpses of the towering Ausangate Glacier. Our experienced tour guide will accompany you, sharing insights into the region’s geology, culture, and wildlife.
